Diana Cockle, Founder & Owner
After discovering my love for flowers a little over a year ago, I knew I had to pursue an avenue that allowed me to create such aesthetic beauty with natural elements. I am now a Master Florist and have been privileged to work many careers over the years to utilize my various talents.
When first venturing out into the work world, I studied and completed my Cosmetology degree in North Dakota. I then found a love of computers and took on roles as Design Administrative Assistant, Inventory Control Specialist, and Secretary. I have worked for well-known financial institutions in many areas of banking and loved becoming a Pastry Chef from being a Pampered Chef Consultant. I have also dabbled in compliance, policies, and procedures.
I met my husband Peter and had no idea I would be his business partner in
our logistics freight business one day. I left the corporate world with so much background in business, communication, and many years of customer service skills.
I live in Maricopa, Arizona with my husband Peter and our 2 dogs, Scooter, Welsh Pembroke Corgi, and Stallone, Belgian Malinois.
If you do not find me arranging flowers. I may be in the kitchen dabbling with a new recipe, out in nature with my husband. Taking photos of the beauty on this earth. Or spending time with my dogs and making them homemade treats!

Janeen Sanderson
My wonderful friend Janeen Sanderson introduced me to flowers and Micael Gaffney. She took one of his classes in Phoenix and it looked like so much fun! I was asking her questions and she had me check out Michale's website.
I checked out the dates and prices and had some great discussions with my husband Peter about it, who told me to Go for it! So, I booked my class for July 2022, and the rest, as they say, is history!
I cannot thank Janeen enough for this introduction. She is always there to cheer me on and willing to help with any arrangements that I may need help with.
Michael Gaffney
Michael Gaffney is the President of the American School of Flower Design. He owns 16 floral design schools in the USA as well as 3 in Europe. Michael knows his flowers and passes on his knowledge and skills to his students. He is hands on and the attention to detail is exquisite in all of his arrangements. He has been on the Today show, QVC, and works often on set for the Hallmark Channel.
To be trained by Michael was beyond amazing. How he started in the floral industry, well it was not something he had considered. He was delivering flowers and the shop he was delivering for needed extra hands. He was taught and worked in a floral shop for many years and then ventured out on his own.
When in class we were able to ask many questions. One that sticks in my head still today is "Who is your favorite floral designer?" Michael mentioned he gets asked this question all of the time. His reply "My students, my students are my favorite designers."
Thank you, Michael, for mentoring me, guiding me, and continuing to help me in my Floral business. I am forever grateful for you sharing your talent and knowledge with me.
